My couch is falling apart. The leather is peeling back, rough, and scratches up our skin. I’ve owned the couch for a year and 2 months. When I purchased the furniture, it was highly recommended I purchase the $129.99 5 year warranty, as it covered ALL damage done to the couch for the time it is covered. I contacted the store, and was referred to GBS, the people who service the warranty claims. I was denied as it is “normal wear and tear”. They referred me back to the store. Upon calling, the service manager “Brandon” continuously advised me unfortunately there was nothing that could be done, other than myself hiring an outside party to fix it. I asked if I could purchase the cushion covers separately since they were unable to hold to their word, and he stated maybe if I look online or something. Very unhelpful as I paid A LOT of money, and have 5 children who will now have to sit on the floor until Mommy can save up enough money for a new one, from a company with more integrity and class. Please do not make the mistake of purchasing their furniture. But furthermore, if you do please record the entire conversation. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They will lie to you, and will provide no helpful alternatives while they drain your pockets. Shameful.
